We can setup a static route for an unused IP address space to the null interface in all routers. We can then propagate a blackhole route from R2 using the unused IP address space as the next hop. Your second question is quite related to the questions in the lab exercise. Also, you can tell the zebra to load your own config file. A very simple initial config file to start with is only specifying the password for the VTY. After that, you can config the zebra using telnet just like the Cisco routers CLI. IP address config is done by DHCP. If you can't connect to the Internet after getting an IP by DHCP, one possible reason is that the routing table (e.g. default route) is not correct. Another simpler way to copy your files is to use an USB drive. **Please spare some time to backup your files, cleanup your files and disconnect the setup.
