FAQ   :   frequently asked questions and answers from Fall 2006.
Discussion Group   :   Google Group for discussing course materials and programming assignments. Please do not join this group at this time.
 
Participation   :   rules about rowcalls.
Presentations   :   information about class presentations.
Exercises   :   information about lab exercises.
Project   :   information about the class project.
Lotteries   :   lotteries for getting your timeslots for presentation, lab exercises, and project demo.

  • 10/23/2008: I will be in my office starting around 10am today.

  • 8/29/2008: Office hours today been canceled. Sorry about the inconvenience.

  • 8/27/2008: Please do not sign up for the Google Group. At the end of week 3, I will add everyone to the Google Group. You will just need to click on a link to accept the invitation at that time. (If you have dropped the class by then, please just ignore the invitation.) Sorry about the inconvenience.

  • 8/15/2008: To get keys for the SAL 224 lab, please see Mai Lee in SAL 346.

  • 8/14/2008:
    • If a student signs up late for this class or could not be present at the beginning of the semester, he/she is still required to turn all assignments on time or he/she will receive a score of 0 for these assignments. No exceptions!

    • Due to limited space and equipment in the laboratory, the class can only accomodate a small number of students (less then 25). If you have a strong interest to the class, prepare to register early. If you are on the waiting list, the CS Department will give out D-clearance according to the order on the list.

    • If you haven't done so, please register with the class mailing list. You are required to register with the class mailing list. (You do not have to be registered for the course to register with the class mailinglist.)

    • Watch this area for important announcements.
